Are you looking for a way to give back to the community, meet new people, keep active or share your skills? Then why not become part of Gottlieb Memorial Hospital's dynamic Volunteer Service Team?
Gottlieb has more than 150 adult volunteers who donate more than 45,000 hours of service to the hospital each year. They include men and women, often retired. All are members of Gottlieb's Auxiliary as well.
Our volunteers work in just about every department in the hospital including the Gift Shop, Surgery waiting room, Admitting, Central Supply, Child Care, Nursing units, Pastoral Care, Physical Therapy, Information Desk and many other areas. They also help with hospital-sponsored events such as health fairs.
Each May, the volunteers are recognized during an Annual Awards Dinner. They also attend a luncheon during National Volunteer Week in April.
Student volunteers, 13 years old to college age, work at the hospital during the summer. Beginning each June, they devote their time to give valuable assistance throughout the hospital.
