Gottlieb's Birth Center is designed to meet the special needs of the emerging family.

A full-service Fetal Assessment Center, established and operated by Loyola University Health System, is available on the Gottlieb campus.

The unit provides the attractive features of home with the safety of a university-level hospital. 

Our skilled doctors and registered nurses understand the physiological and psychological changes that accompany each stage of birth, and partner with you to provide personalized care throughout your stay.

In our Birth Center, each tastefully decorated suite has "at home" luxuries such as free, high-speed, wireless internet access, and flat-screen televisions. Each suite even has a comfortable recliner chair, so the dad or another significant support person can stay with you every step of the way.  

In your suite, the advanced medical technology is readily available yet tucked out of sight to create a soothing environment. Surgical lights, oxygen, supplies and equipment are hidden away in the room until they are needed for your delivery.

Once your baby arrives, you will rest and relax in the Post Partum Unit. Your private suite there has the same luxuries and amenities as in the Birth Center, allowing you to continue your journey to wellness, and focus on what's most important-spending time with your baby.  Your support partner can stay with you as much as you want, allowing plenty of time for those special moments together.

Grandparents and big brothers and sisters can also enjoy the newest addition to the family with you during special visiting hours.
