Emergency Department & Trauma Center

Our full-service Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center delivers high-quality acute care to adults and children. Board-certified emergency medicine doctors handle acute symptoms, injuries and illness, trauma and life-threatening conditions 24 hours a day. The clinical staff is skilled in advanced cardiac care, and all staff nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support.

Pediatric Care

We provide a safe and secure atmosphere for children to receive emergency medical care. Our staff nurses are certified in advanced pediatric life support, and the department is accredited by the Illinois Department of Public Health as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics.

Pre-Hospital Training

Our emergency physicians and nurses are responsible for training and educating the local emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics for Bensenville, Elmwood Park, Franklin Park, Melrose Park, River Grove and Leyden Township.
