Women's Health

Loyola Medicine offers the full range of expertise women need for wellness, pregnancy, labor and delivery and the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions. Gottlieb Memorial Hospital attracts gynecologists from throughout the west suburbs and Chicago. Our gynecologists have received specialized training to diagnose complex conditions and provide the most advanced treatment options, including gynecologic surgery.

Women who are pregnant or planning to have a baby can find an obstetrician convenient to them, including several at the Loyola Center for Health at Gottlieb and who have offices in the Gottlieb Professional Office Building.

Effective December 12, 2016, and thereafter, Gottlieb will no longer have an inpatient obstetrics unit. As a result, deliveries will generally occur elsewhere, including Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in Maywood. The labor and delivery professionals at LUMC are certified in fetal monitoring, and the medical center is nationally known for its neonatal intensive care and Level III Perinatal Center.

Prenatal and parenting classes designed for you and your family are offered at LUMC.
